3. This Cookie Policy supplements the e-toolkit Privacy Policy, which contains detailed information regarding the processing of personal data, users’ rights, data recipients and transfers of data outside the European Economic Area.

2. What Are Cookies?

Similar technologies may also include other mechanisms that allow information to be stored on or read from a user’s device or that enable a particular session, device or browser to be recognised.

Cookies and similar technologies may be used, among other things, to:

• ensure the proper operation of the Website,

• operate the shopping cart and checkout process,

• provide an electronically supplied service explicitly requested by the user,
• provide functionality necessary for the proper operation of the service.

4. Types of Cookies Used

4.1. Strictly Necessary Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the proper and secure operation of the Website.

They may be used, among other things, to:

• maintain sessions,
• log in to an Account,
• authenticate users,
• ensure security,
• prevent abuse,
• operate the shopping cart,
• process purchases,
• remember settings necessary for the operation of the Website,
• remember the user’s cookie consent choices.

Strictly necessary cookies may be used without additional user consent to the extent permitted by applicable law.

6. Google Ads

The Controller uses Google Ads to run advertising campaigns and measure their effectiveness.

Depending on the consent given, Google Ads may be used, among other things, for:

• analysis of advertising effectiveness,
• identifying user interactions with advertisements,
• remarketing,
• creating audience groups,
• personalised advertising.

Google Ads may use its own measurement technologies and cookies with names beginning, for example, with:

The scope and names of cookies may vary depending on Google Ads configuration, campaign settings and changes introduced by Google.

Google Ads technologies requiring consent are used only after such consent has been obtained.

7. Google Tag Manager

The Controller uses Google Tag Manager for the technical management of tags and scripts launched on the Website, including in particular:

• Google Analytics 4,
• Google Ads,
• consent management mechanisms.

Google Tag Manager itself is not used by the Controller as a tool for creating user profiles or compiling behavioural statistics.

The scope of data processing depends primarily on the tools launched through Google Tag Manager.

8. Google Consent Mode

The Controller may use Google Consent Mode, which allows information about users’ consent choices to be communicated to Google services.

Depending on the user’s choice, the following consent types may be handled:

• analytics_storage – consent relating to the storage of analytics-related data,
• ad_storage – consent relating to the storage of advertising-related data,
• ad_user_data – consent relating to sending user data to Google for advertising purposes,
• ad_personalization – consent relating to personalised advertising.

The default setting for technologies requiring consent should indicate that consent has not been given until the user makes a choice.

After the user changes their selection, the relevant consent settings are updated.

Google Consent Mode does not replace the cookie banner. It is used to technically communicate the user’s choices to the relevant Google services.

9. Consent Management

When visiting the Website for the first time, the user may be shown a cookie consent panel or banner.

The user may:

• accept all optional cookies,
• reject all optional cookies,
• select individual cookie categories,
• save their own preferences.

Refusing analytics or marketing cookies should not prevent the user from accessing the Website’s essential functionality.

Where data is transferred outside the EEA, such transfer is carried out in accordance with mechanisms provided for under the GDPR, including in particular:

• a European Commission adequacy decision,
• appropriate legal frameworks recognised by the European Commission,
• Standard Contractual Clauses,
• other mechanisms provided for by applicable law.

15. Changing or Withdrawing Consent
